Summary:
Tyler Jendro of the Royalton Riverdogs pitched a complete game 5-hitter with 8 strikeouts Saturday as Royalton clinched their first Region 8C Tournament berth in franchise history with a 14-1 win over Upsala.  Jendro also had a great day at the plate, going 4-5 with a homerun, 5 rbi's and he scored 3 runs.  Tyler Jendro is the Victory League Pitcher of the Week and wins a pitcher of the beverage of his choice (soda/beer) to Zylka's Red Bull Bar in Little Falls.  Great job Tyler!

Shawn Lanners of the Royalton Riverdogs hit a first inning grand slam to propel his team to a 14-1 win over Upsala Saturday, and earn the 1st Region 8C bid in team history.  Lanners went 2-3 with a homerun, 4 rbi's and scored 2 runs.  He went 1-4 on Sunday against Sobieski in the West Division title game.  Shawn Lanners is the Victory League Offensive Player of the Week and wins a $10 gift certificate to Patrick's Bar & Grill in Pierz.  Congrats Shawn!
